Fabric Shelters

Industrial and Commercial Fabric Shelters and Fabric Buildings used in Louisiana, Texas and throughout the Gulf South for plant turnarounds, shutdowns, and new constructions.

American Covers fabric shelters are used for lunchrooms, fabrication shops, paint containment shelters, storage warehouses, marine repair enclosures and virtually any application requiring enclosed space. Used widely throughout the construction and environmental industry, American Covers fabric shelters arrive in kit form, ready to install.

What is a Fabric Shelter?

A fabric shelter is a type of tent that consists of a steel frame and a fabric cover. These temporary fabric structures are constructed of high strength galvanized steel tubing and high-quality flame resistant,  PVC vinyl. Typically the fabric is tensioned to the frame using cable or rope to create a tight-fitting cover membrane. Fabric shelters are an excellent choice when your project requires a fast solution to protect your people and assets.

Fabric Shelters

American Covers has been a provider of fabric structures and fabric shelters since 1995. Our fabric structures are cost-effective as they are easily installed and do not require a concrete pad. Once the job is complete, the fabric shelter can be dismantled, relocated, and reassembled for the next project.

Applications for the fabric shelters include temporary warehousing, lunch tents, plant turnaround tents, clearspan fabric structures for material storage, and shipping container covers.

American Covers offers two types of installation processes to make your project successful.  Turnkey installation using our disa-tested, plant-ready, skilled field crew to build the structure on your site will get you up and running in no time.  Should you have your own labor, but aren't sure about building an entire structure, American Covers can provide an on-site supervisor to oversee the installation process.  Once the job is complete, the shelter can be dismantled, relocated, and reassembled for the next application.
