Installation for Standard Carport

  1. First lay out bases measuring from outside of one base rail to outside of other base rail as shown above (width of carport is used for outside to outside measurement).

  2. Next, lay out the arches as shown above with (2) legs for every (1) peak. Stab peak with attached inserts into top of each leg. When all arches are completely assembled, lay out arches as shown below to start stabbing into base rails.

  3. Next, stab all completed arches into base rails as shown below.

  4. Now is the time to place the first (crown) sheet of tin on top of carport as shown below. Make sure that the center of each peak is lined up with center rib on first sheet as shown below. Allow for 3" overhang in front and rear. Make sure that each leg is plumb before using self drilling screws to attached roof to arches.

  5. Now install the second sheet which will under lap the sheet above it as shown below. Continue until the entire side is complete as shown below.

  6. Do the other side until the carport is completely covered.
